After conducting some research on the chinese-american demographic I found some interesting information I felt was relevant to the project. These included:

california's chinese-american population accounts for one third of the chinese-americans in the entire united states

53% of the chinese-american population are naturalized citizens

a projected 213% population increase over the next 50 years (that's compared to 49% for the overall population)
